You May Make Mistakes During Your Weight Loss Program
ByMistakes are a part of our everyday life. We’ve come to accept and know that we will make them. This way of thinking

It's o.k to make mistakes during your weight loss journey-but when you do, don't let it keep you down! Get back on track and concentrate on achieving your goals!
also applies to your weight loss, exercise, and nutrition programs. You will stumble occasionally, maybe eating that favorite food of yours when you shouldn’t have, or for whatever reason not exercising one day. The key here is understanding that, as humans, we are not perfect, and to accept we will sometimes “fall off the horse.” When this happens, please do not punish yourself endlessly and, for goodness sake, do not say, “oh, now that I’ve messed up I’m done. I may as well quit.”
Believe it or not, there are many who have done exactly that: instead of looking at a mistake as a temporary setback, some have blown the error completely out of proportion. Please don’t do this, as the few mistakes you may make are a drop in the bucket compared to all the good and right things you are doing to allow physical excellence to happen.
And guess what- if you decide one day that you absolutely must have that piece of chocolate cake or cheesecake then go ahead and have it. If you’ve decided you are going to eat it no matter what then first try and have just one spoonful of it to see if that quells those urges. Sometimes that’s enough to get rid of those powerful feelings. I recommend really savoring that bite-size piece and getting full enjoyment out of it. And yes, it was a mistake to have it but don’t let that derail all the progress you’ve made so far and the future success you are going to achieve.
Here are seven words you can say to yourself before you eat anything that at the very least will cause you pause and may even prevent your from making a mistake: “Do I Really Need To Eat That?” Then decide if you are eating that food because it is part of the program or because you’re bored, angry, tired, depressed, or for any other reason. Decide if it’s important enough for you to sabotage the weight loss and progress you’ve made so far and the reasons you decided to do this in the first place. By taking the time to really analyze your though process concerning food choices, you will be better prepared to steer clear of “triggers” that cause you to make unhealthy food choices.
