Two Great-tasting Protein Powder Drink Recipes.

By Harry

This will be quick, so you can go out and try them.

protein powder and tea

protein powder and tea-come see recipe

1st Recipe:

1 cup freshly brewed Coffee
2 tsp cinnamon
2 scoops of your favorite protein powder (mine can be found here: http://tinyurl.com/protein1)

Directions:

Brew the coffee and while it’s brewing, get a large mug and add the 2 tsp of cinnamon and the protein powder. I’ve only tried it with vanilla flavored protein powder, but you can experiment with other flavor’s to your heart’s content. Let me know what you discover.

When coffee is done, pour about 1/2 cup into the mug, mix with a spoon (it mixes better when there is less liquid), when fully mixed, pour the rest of the coffee into the mug and enjoy.

2nd Recipe:

1 Earl Grey tea bag (I love Earl Grey tea because of its distinctive taste – you Brits out there know what I mean as it is a veritable staple of your diet)

2 Scoops of your favorite protein powder (again, mine is http://tinyurl.com/protein1)

Directions:

Brew the tea, add the protein powder to a large mug, pour the tea into the mug with protein powder, mix well, enjoy.

If you’ve ever had English tea with milk, this taste will come really close to that experience. I was pleasantly surprised.

WARNING:

When adding cinnamon, don’t confuse it with curry powder… I did this the other day by mistake and was hit upside the head like a knockout punch…

Interesting! I wonder though, do you think the protein would be compromised or denatured by heating it?
