Drive Through Christian Church and a Fast Weight Loss Program?
BySo I’m in Daytona Beach for business, and I’m coming back from having lunch at “Aunt Catfish’s” (awesome, by the way), and up ahead I see a bewildering sign that says…
“Daytona Beach Drive-In Christian Church”
At first I kind of misinterpreted it to mean a “Drive-through” church. Stunned, I pointed and said to Wyland (who was driving), “Check out that drive-through church!” It was so small and we drove by real fast so I wasn’t sure if what I saw was real because Wyland missed it. Sure enough, if you check out the link above, this church is not only real, but was featured by a French TV channel.
I thought, “how perfect”. I mean, in today’s world we want everything fast. Fast food, fast cars/planes/boats, etc. Now, with this drive-in church, you don’t even have to get out of your car. No excuses about not having enough time to go to church anymore. Just hop into your car with any old clothes on, pull into the convenient drive in, park, place the speaker on your window, and for the next 45 minutes you’re in communion with God. Great Idea, right? I sure thought so…
