<p>When Susan called she said, “I’m going to ask you a few questions to help us pick who the champion is going to be”. She then proceeded to ask me a series of questions and then she asked one that caught me off guard…</p>
<p><strong><em>&#8220;You are still in good shape aren’t you?&#8221;</em></strong> After thinking for a few milliseconds about what I should say I said, <em>&#8220;Yes, I’m still in good shape.&#8221;</em></p>
<p>I lied, and I felt really bad for saying that I was still in shape when in actuality I was far from it. During the 2-½ months since I had completed my transformation program I had barely worked out. I had no desire to do anything at all about my physique or worry about supplements or even the kind of food I put into my body after my father had died. I had let myself get badly out of shape &#8212; again!</p>

<p>Susan then said, &#8220;That’s good you’re in shape because in 2 weeks, on Dec. 18, we’re going to fly the winners to Golden, Colorado for the Grand Champion awards ceremony plus shoot physique photos on Saturday the 19th.&#8221; I sheepishly said in a voice that hopefully wasn&#8217;t quavering too much, &#8220;great?!?&#8221;</p>
<p>Before we were done talking, Susan said the winner would be called the next day and arrangements made to fly out to Colorado. She wished me luck and I said goodbye. Needless to say, I was nervous as could be.</p>
<p>Sheer elation at the thought of potentially winning this contest was suddenly replaced with immense terror at the thought of actually winning this thing. &#8220;What if I really did win it? HOW would I get into the shape I was in for my &#8220;after&#8221; photos I had sent them 3 months before, but in only 2 weeks?&#8221;, I cried to myself.</p>
<p>These were the thoughts racing through my head for over 24 hours until <strong>I received that fateful call from none other than Bill Phillips</strong> himself on Saturday evening, Dec. 5th, congratulating me on becoming the newest 1998 Physique Transformation Champion. I remember Bill coming on the line, without introducing himself I might add, and saying, &#8220;Harry, if you had the choice between a red, and a silver corvette, which color would you pick?&#8221; Dumbfounded, all I could mutter was &#8220;uhhhhhh&#8230;.&#8221; A cacophony of congratulations broke out over the telephone line after Bill said, &#8220;Harry, this is Bill Phillips, I want to congratulate you on winning the 1998 Physique Transformation contest (changed to the Body For Life contest the following year)!&#8221;</p>

<p>Was I happy? You bet! But then a sense of urgency swept over my body and I get goose bumps still, just thinking about it.</p>
<p>&#8220;I need to be in shape in less than 2 weeks! And not just any old shape either, but championship caliber material shape&#8221;, I cried!</p>
<p>I looked intensely at the calendar and saw from that Sunday the 6th (the next day) until the photos were to be taken on Saturday the 19th, there would only be 14 days to get ready.</p>
<p>Talk about the power of positive pressure. Here was the man I had idolized for so many years talking to me on the telephone, telling me I had won his contest, and he was inviting me to his home in Colorado to be honored as the new 1998 Physique Champion. Talk about being scared out of my mind!</p>
<p>I definitely did not want to let Bill, myself, or my family down. The humiliation of showing up out of shape as THE champion was a thought I could not bear.</p>
<p>But what was I to do? I could re-transform myself if I had the time but I couldn’t really do it in only 2 weeks, could I?!?</p>
<p>I made a momentous decision that day. I said to myself that instead of worrying myself half to death about it, I would instead focus on what I needed to do and then do everything in my power to transform my body back into the shape it had been in before.</p>
<p>I wouldn’t worry about not being to accomplish my goal I would just do it, with no thought at all of the consequences of not achieving it.</p>
<p>I just ran on pure faith&#8230;</p>
<p>And I’ll tell you, <strong>as soon as I made that decision </strong>that I would do any and everything to get my body back into my previous shape <strong>my whole life changed</strong>.</p>
<p>My entire thought process changed, I became consumed with forcing my body into shape and I never worked so hard to do it either. I knew down to the last micro-ounce how much protein, carbohydrates, and fats I was consuming. I upped my supplement intake to handle the increased demands on my body. My weight training sessions were so intense that people were staring at me and wondering what had turned me into such a seemingly crazed individual.</p>
<p>There was no stopping me from that Sunday through the next two Saturdays.</p>
<p>I had my bodyfat measurements taken at the beginning of that 2-week period prior to the Championship ceremony and the results showed I was at 14% bodyfat. Now while this was not obese or grotesquely out of shape by any means, it was a far cry from my ultimate shape where my bodyfat percentage was a paltry 5.5%. At this 14% level of bodyfat I didn’t look at all like my &#8216;after&#8217; photos…my &#8216;before&#8217; photos was more like it.</p>
<p><strong>I made a decision and promise to myself that I would do whatever it took to change.</strong> And since the ceremony was only 2 weeks away, this tremendous sense of urgency invaded my very existence. I HAD to change in 2 weeks…I would accept nothing less than a 200% effort out of myself.</p>
<p><strong>I was also convinced I WOULD change dramatically</strong>. <span style="text-decoration: underline;">I had absolutely no doubts that I would get my body back into photo-ready shape. I truly believed!</span></p>
<p>So was I able to get myself back into my championship winning shape of 5.5%? No&#8230;I didn&#8217;t. However, I did reach a bodyfat percentage of 7.3%. And when I took that final measurement it was no surprise to me (because the mirror was telling me I had been making tremendous progress over those 2 fateful weeks).</p>
<p>I knew all along my body would dramatically change. I trusted in my program, which included these 20 lessons &#8212; BLUEPRINTS really &#8211;  and applied them with my entire heart and soul.</p>
<p>If I had applied only 19 of my Blueprints and left out this one, the power of creating a sense of urgency, there is NO WAY I would have changed so much in so short a period of time, absolutely not.</p>

<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Can you envision this power of &#8216;&#8221;urgency&#8221; and what it can do for you?</strong></span> It is one of the best <a title="ways to lose weight" href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oRYwt8nhKCs&amp;feature=channel" target="_blank">ways to lose weight</a> and get in shape that I know. I am the perfect example because I lived, breathed, and experienced it. I showed myself the capacity I had to accomplish the seemingly impossible.</p>
<p>Before, if someone had asked me if it was possible for anyone to lose half their bodyfat in only 2 weeks I would have said it was impossible. Not anymore.</p>
<p>This real-world example underscores <strong>the true power and potential our minds can wield if we believe</strong> (which I did with all my heart and soul) <strong>and then follow through with action</strong>. If you want it badly enough, believe you can do it, do all the right things, and utilize the power of positive pressure, I sincerely and honestly believe you can accomplish anything you desire.</p>
<p>What will your sense of urgency be? I can’t answer that for you. But it has to be the kind of deadline you impose where reaching that ending date you either achieve the success you’re after, or you fail to reach it and the consequences are dire.</p>
<p>And just like the changes I made with my body, don’t think about what you can’t do, but rather what you can and will do with your body.</p>
<p>Concentrating on what you WANT to accomplish, instead of complaining about your &#8220;situation&#8221; will cause you to focus on solutions. Apply this principle to every aspect of your life, and see if you not only get a better body quicker and easier, but improve other areas of your life too.</p>

<p>Many women, months before their wedding, start dieting because they want to look their very best on their big day. Knowing <em>&#8220;this is the most important day of my life&#8221;</em> allows many overweight women to suddenly develop tremendous willpower to &#8220;just say no.&#8221; Foods that previously had full control over their lives are now relegated to an insignificant corner. <p>With no deadline, chances are you won’t be as faithful to every part of your program. Knowing a deadline is coming you know if you mess up at any point along the way, it could negatively affect your results.</p>
<p>Some people use their high school reunions as one of the <a title="ways to lose weight" href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BLpoQRftIBI" target="_blank">ways to lose weight</a>. The positive pressure of not looking old, fat, and ugly in front on a group of people you really want to impress, increases the magnitude and importance of doing everything right to lose fat and get in shape in time. <strong>This Lesson is one of the most important ones as far as the speed at which you can transform your body</strong>. With no sense of urgency driving you forward, you rationalize you can have that piece of chocolate cake, or go out to dinner with family or friends and &#8220;just for tonight&#8221; have all the food and drink you care to eat.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Here&#8217;s what happened to me that perfectly illustrates the almost miraculous power of what positive pressure can do for you.</span></p>
<p>It was 1998, and I had just gotten off the phone with Susan Phillips, the mother of Bill Phillips (the creator of the supplement company EAS, and Muscle Media magazine). It was towards the end of the year, in early December. After getting off the phone with her I was in shock. Why? Because I had just been told by her that I was one of the top-50 finalists for that years Physique Transformation<br />
Contest.</p>
<p>This contest consisted of completing a 12-week exercise and nutrition program of your own choosing. Plus, submitting a before and after photo along with a 700-word essay that described what you went through, what it meant to you, and how you did it.</p>

<p>I made the decision (sound like a familiar Lesson?) to enter this contest and told myself I would pour my heart and soul into transforming my body; nothing would get in the way of achieving my goals. Well, I did dramatically change, both outside and in. I completed my program on Sept 19, 1998, my 39th birthday. I put my package together and send it in to the EAS home office in Colorado.</p>
<p>I knew that I had done my best in transforming myself but also knew there would be hundreds of thousands of people entering the contest as well (in fact, over 220,000 people did enter that year). I remember thinking, <em>&#8220;Could I really have a chance at winning this contest considering all the people that were going to enter?&#8221;</em> Honestly, I thought my chances were slim to none. But I sent my package in anyway.</p>
<p>At the same time, while I was making tremendous progress with my own body, my father was struggling with his very life. He fell a couple of years earlier &#8212; breaking his hip. It was a series of trips in and out of hospitals from then on from complications of the original fall and subsequent falls he took which broke his hip again. It was a very trying time.</p>
<p>He lost his ability to walk earlier in the year and was confined to a bed. To say he was miserable was an understatement. Slowly but surely I saw his life slipping away before my eyes. On October 28, 1998, one month after I completed my body transformation, my father passed away.</p>

<p>It was an extremely sad time for my family and I. Although I had just completed the most miraculous changes in my body and I was happy about that, it paled in comparison to the suffering my father was going through and my family as well, now that he was gone.</p>
<p>I completely forgot about any and everything that was even remotely concerned with body transformation or working out or eating right. And I had totally taken all thoughts of the contest that I had entered out of my mind.</p>
<p>Well, as fate would have it, Susan Phillips called me just a little over a month after my father passed away and told me I was a finalist in a contest I had forgotten about. That call came as a total shock and surprise. It was as if a lightning bolt had hit me on a clear blue day.</p>
<p>When Susan called she said, &#8220;I&#8217;m going to ask you a few questions to help us pick who the champion is going to be&#8221;. She then proceeded to ask me a series of questions and then she asked one that caught me off guard&#8230;</p>

Here&#8217;s lesson 2.</p>
<p>I want to remind you of a mistake I made before winning the Body For Life contest. For 8 years I had tried really hard to try and figure out the best <a title="ways to lose weight" href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ctfe4HwAb48&amp;feature=PlayList&amp;p=7CF01A1A649FDA55&amp;playnext=1&amp;playnext_from=PL&amp;index=1" target="_blank">ways to lose weight</a> and get in shape. While I did discover quite a number of them, it wasn&#8217;t until I put them all together, as a cohesive whole, that I was finally able to get my body to change. It was only the synergy of the combined &#8220;effective&#8221; methods that caused the massive change to happen in my body so quickly. So I&#8217;m going to remind you to do the same. As I go through these lessons, don&#8217;t just read about them and try one here or there. PUT THEM ALL TOGETHER! This is the only way you&#8217;re going to achieve massive results.</p>
<p>So here&#8217;s a recap of your lessons so far:</p>

<p>Don&#8217;t forget, the greatest effect from these lessons will be their combined synergy. Now on to lesson 2.</p>
<h4>Lesson #2: You Need to Make a DECISION to Change</h4>
<p>So now that you have your reason(s) to change, now what? Next you must make that decision to change. What does this really mean? I&#8217;ll tell you in a second. But the fact is it&#8217;s one of the most powerful things you can do to push yourself beyond anything you could ever have imagined.</p>
<p>You could have all the goals in the world laid out in front of you but if you don’t make a conscious decision with yourself, if you don’t say something like,</p>
<p style="padding-left: 30px;"><em>“That’s it, I’m making the decision right now, right here, today! I’m going to commit to changing my body and to do whatever it takes to get into the shape I want and have dreamed of forever”,</em></p>
<p>then you haven’t truly triggered your entire being to accept your decision to change. In fact, if you ask most people that have struggled for years trying to figure out the best ways to lose weight, they&#8217;ll tell you that one day they just <em>made a decision</em> to lose the weight. Simple as that. They were usually sick and tired of looking and feeling like crap, and just said, <em>&#8220;enough!&#8221;</em></p>
<p>When people make this kind of a decision, it triggers a cascade of psychological signals that causes tremendous and powerful mental processes to occur. New manners of thought that seemed totally foreign to you before will now seem as if they were second nature.</p>
<p>Where before you may have said,</p>
<p style="padding-left: 30px;"><em>“I just can’t resist chocolate. I was born with a sweet tooth and there’s not much I can do to change that”</em>, now you’ll say, <em>“I still love chocolate but there’s something I’m doing now that is very important for me, more important than the fleeting taste of chocolate in my mouth. It’s about creating the body and person I knew I always could have and be but never knew how…now I do. ” </em></p>
<p>Or some other similar self-talk.</p>
<p>Making that decision to change causes a mindset transformation that completely realigns your goals, wants, needs, and desires. You understand you won’t have to give up chocolate completely, but you will curtail the amount you used to eat because it’s no longer productive to your goals.<br />

Because you now have more important reasons than chocolate and you made that decision to change, the seeming agony you used to experience by depriving yourself of your favorite food has now almost disappeared – replaced by a focused goal towards a betterment of your body.</p>
<p>You ‘suddenly’ realize that the lasting feeling of an in shape body is MUCH better than the short-lived taste of chocolate in your mouth.</p>
<p>What will cause you to make this decision? The reasons are as varied as there are stars in the sky. But by using Lesson #1 along with some of the other lessons to come (Lesson #5 is usually enough to push one into making that decision), you should have no problem making that &#8220;shift&#8221; that suddenly opens up the possibilities and doors of change for you.</p>

<p>Now don&#8217;t get me wrong&#8230;I don&#8217;t mean people are not smart enough, it&#8217;s just they don&#8217;t realize the inherent power that lies in that blob of gray matter.</p>
<p>Using our mind correctly is one the most powerful ways to lose weight, and can also be used to improve other areas of our lives as well.</p>
<p>Our emotions, thoughts, actions, habits, mindsets, beliefs, doubts, etc. all have either a positive, or negative influence on what we say we want to accomplish.</p>
<p>And some (I would say most) of us have been programmed into self-sabotaging actions that hinder our progress, whether we&#8217;re aware of this or not.</p>
<p>Listen, I&#8217;m no different from anybody else that has struggled trying to figure out the best ways to lose weight and get in shape. I have my own personal negative behaviors and genetics that make it hard for me to get in shape. Why do you think it took me so long to finally get there (8 years of no results vs. 12 weeks and a great body by using my brain)? It really wasn&#8217;t because I didn&#8217;t know how to eat right or exercise correctly&#8230;it was because I wasn&#8217;t using the tremendous power of my mind to help me figure out the best ways to lose weight.</p>

<p>I’ve seen it happen time and time again. <span style="text-decoration: underline;">Those that followed through and achieved the body of their dreams were the ones that had a deep-rooted desire to change.</span> This yearning for a new body was stronger than anything that attempted to prevent them from achieving it.</p>

<p>From family or friends feeling threatened by their decision to better themselves (and doing anything to get them ‘off course’ and back to their old selves again), to special occasions that tempted them with foods not exactly conducive to a better body, their reasons to fail were<br />
numerous.</p>
<p>However, the pain of not getting their new body was greater than the pressures of those people and things attempting to derail them…their need to better their body was more important than anything else.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Stop here and reread that last sentence. </span>You NEED to find that reason or reasons that will overcome and surpass ANYTHING that may be thrown at you. And I promise you there WILL be obstacles and roadblocks that will present themselves to you on your way to your new body. Take a few quiet moments and reflect on why changing your body<br />
is important to you. When you find it, write it down. You will refer to it often.</p>

<p>On the other hand I’ve also seen many well-intentioned folks that told me they did have a deep reason to change but somehow could not articulate it to me. They would be the ones that invariably wouldn’t finish their program and would provide me some kind of excuse for not being able to.</p>
<p>These excuses all sounded perfectly logical – to them – but I knew they were all just excuses. And were the consequence of not finding that deep-rooted desire to want to change in the first place.</p>
<p>It really wasn’t their fault though because they just fell into the trap of failing to plan. Part of the plan to success relies in the area of preparation. And the very first step required is to perform this little exercise I have just asked you to do.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Think about this for a second.</span> If you can’t exert the small effort required in finding your reasons to change right here and right now, what makes you think you will be able to exert the much greater efforts required for you to change your body?</p>
<p>[this might be a sobering thought for some of you!]</p>
<p>There seems to be few people in this world who actually accomplish what they set out to do. Heck, there are very few people who even say they are going to do anything. But I believe you are here truly looking for an answer. And if you can listen and trust in what I’m saying to you then maybe you can find that lasting solution you are looking for.</p>
<p><strong>By harnessing the power of your “WHY” you will be taking a great leap forward towards the eventual success of your program.</strong></p>
<p>Listen, it can’t be because you want to lose 20 lbs, or to fit into your bathing suit this summer. You see, these reasons are not important enough to propel you forward…through thick and thin, and the obstacles that life always seems to throw at you.</p>
<p>I can almost guarantee you will experience hurdles during your transformation experience. It’s just about inevitable. Life is way too busy and unpredictable for there not to be something that “gets in the way” of achieving your physique transformation goals.</p>
<p>That’s why your reasons for wanting to change have to be stronger than the obstacles and roadblocks you will encounter. These barriers can stop you in your tracks unless your underlying motivation for changing your body is greater.</p>
<p>And that’s why you really need to spend some quality time alone and find that reason(s) so important to you that you will be able to commit to changing your body no matter what.</p>
<p>And I can’t answer that for you because I can’t look inside your head. I know for me it was the initial prizes that were offered by the contest I won. A brand new Corvette, $10,000, and lots of other goodies were sure enticements for just about anyone.</p>

<p>Sometimes, unlucky things happen when you least expect it.  And, they can easily happen to you during your program.</p>
<p>It is very likely that you will experience some difficulties: something will suddenly ‘pop up’ to derail your efforts, unless you prepare yourself for the probability.  By mentally preparing yourself for the day (and trust me it will come) when one of life’s problems confronts you, you will be better equipped to understand what is happening and bend the situation to conform to your higher objective.</p>
<p><strong>Strategy #14: Concentrate on Building Muscle</strong></p>

<p>Simply put, more muscle on your body increases your metabolic rate, or the rate at which you burn calories. A higher metabolism, all else being equal, helps you lose weight faster.</p>
<p><strong>Strategy #15: Hold Yourself Accountable to Someone</strong></p>
<p>One of the most powerful things you can do to assure continued progress is to tell someone of your plans to begin (and finish) the 12-week Beyond Genetic program.  Psychologically, we are stronger at performing and keeping to a task if we tell someone we are going to do it.  You are being held accountable to that person for following through on your promise to complete the program.</p>
<p>Ask this person to call or keep in touch with you on a regular basis.  Then, provide them with feedback on your progress.  Tell this person that there may come a time in your program when you’re struggling, and that, under no circumstances is he or she to be sympathetic with your struggles.  Instruct them to do everything in their power to get you to continue on track.  Give them a copy of your contract so they can see and use it, if need be, when the time comes.</p>
<p><strong>Strategy #16: Reward Yourself</strong></p>
<p>Making progress? Then reward yourself. Treat yourself for what you&#8217;ve done with a positive &#8220;event&#8221;, or experience. If you like shopping, give yourself a goal that when you lose x number of pounds of fat, that you&#8217;ll treat yourself to an afternoon of shopping. Or even a day of eating your favorite foods. Overeating on a planned basis (about once every 4th day) will help you accelerate your fat loss results.</p>

<p>That&#8217;s the word to describe our Nation&#8217;s preoccupation with the ways to lose weight. We can&#8217;t seem to get enough. And usually, as soon as we lose some fat, we put it all back on again (and then some).</p>
<p>So, here they are&#8230; My Top 3 Way to Lose Weight Quickly</p>
<ol class="numsey">
<li><strong>SURGERY</strong> &#8211; Walking or running is overrated&#8230; so go to your nearest doctor and have them lop off a leg. This will make you permanently lose weight.</li>
<li><strong>GO INTO MASSIVE DEBT</strong> &#8211; Have so many bills you have to pay that there&#8217;s no money left over to buy any food. This will make you drop a few pant sizes very quickly.</li>
<li><strong>HIRE A PERSONAL ASSISTANT</strong> &#8211; They have to be MUCH bigger than you. Their job is simply to shadow you wherever you go and physically hurt you if you put the wrong foods in your mouth.</li>
</ol>
<p>Sorry, I couldn&#8217;t help myself with these puns.</p>
<p>But here&#8217;s the real serious side to all of this.</p>
<p>Every day you delay in doing something about getting in shape, you&#8217;re hammering away at the &#8220;nails in your coffin&#8221; just that much sooner. <em>&#8220;But I don&#8217;t want to live to be that old anyway&#8221;</em>, you shout. Me neither.</p>
<p>Can I ask you to do something real simple? I promise you&#8217;ll get a lot out of it.</p>

<p>Next time you&#8217;re &#8220;out and about&#8221;, just take a look around you&#8230; Specifically, take a look at the majority of the &#8220;old&#8221; people you find. What do you notice? Do you like what you see? Do you want to look that way one day?</p>
<p>I&#8217;m going to ask you a hypothetical question&#8230; <strong>THE ANSWER COULD BE VERY IMPORTANT TO YOU SO PLEASE THINK ABOUT THIS CAREFULLY!</strong></p>
<p>If you &#8220;knew&#8221; that at the very moment you ate food you&#8217;re not supposed to, or you missed one of your exercise sessions, you&#8217;d immediately turn into one of those &#8220;old folks&#8221; in an instant, and, irreversibly&#8230; how easy would it be to stay away from those foods or to do your exercise sessions?</p>
<p>I think if most of us knew we&#8217;d immediately get old as a result of just one bad piece of food we ate, most of us wouldn&#8217;t eat it. I think that&#8217;s a fair assumption, right?</p>
<p>Yet did you know you are likely doing that very thing? Because&#8230; most of us do NOT eat that donut, or ice cream, or piece of pie &#8220;occasionally&#8221; (which is perfectly fine), instead, we eat these kinds of foods almost every single day. Even if it&#8217;s not a donut or ice cream, the food you&#8217;re eating could be acting just as badly in your body as those other, more obviously &#8220;bad&#8221; foods. Mashed potatoes and gravy, baked potatoes with lots of butter and sour cream, fried foods, greasy hamburgers, pizza, packaged foods OF ANY KIND (yea, this means pasta, rice, etc.). This is part of our &#8220;normal&#8221; everyday diets.</p>
<p>And you&#8217;re well on your way to getting old before your time.</p>
<p>HOW DID EATING THESE TYPES OF FOODS GET TO BE NORMAL!?!  This is the question I want to ask.</p>
<p>Can we partially blame it on the manufacturers for making such great-tasting food be so damn awful for you, health-wise? Maybe&#8230; but it&#8217;s still our hands that pick up those foods and place them into our bodies. I&#8217;m not blaming you, in fact, you probably have been conditioned to eat the way you do&#8230; starting way back when you were a child. Think about it and you&#8217;ll likely remember this to be true.</p>
<p>Here&#8217;s the bad part about getting old prematurely (which is exactly what happens when you eat your &#8220;normal&#8221; diet). You suffer! That&#8217;s right! Look very carefully at all those old people. You think they hobble around like that because it&#8217;s easier to do so? No, they move that way because of the PAIN they&#8217;re experiencing. Go ahead&#8230; ask them!</p>

<p>Is Jack a burden on his family? Is he a burden on the medical care system? The answer is obvious. Jack has taken good enough care of himself earlier in life that he doesn&#8217;t have to suffer now like others his age do (if they&#8217;re even still around). And he&#8217;s enjoying life, without pain, not wishing for the end like many people do because they&#8217;re suffering so much.</p>
<p>And then there&#8217;s Sal! I met Sal on the beach the other day where I work out. A fitness marvel of a human being considering he&#8217;s 87 years young. Yet, is what he has done really that extraordinary? I mean, Sal simply took care of himself. He ate right &#8211; he showed me his recipe for natural protein bars (look for it in an upcoming blog), we talked about his diet, his exercise. It&#8217;s clear as a bell why he is so sprightly at an age when most people are either bed-ridden, on oxygen tanks, in a nursing home, or dead!</p>
<p>There were virtually <strong>NO SIGNS OF AGING</strong> on Sal&#8217;s body. Is he a freak of nature? No, he just did the right things for his body.</p>
<p>People, we have to take responsibility for our own health. Cancer rarely develops by itself without some prodding from us by either starving our bodies of the right nutrients, or eating too many bad foods. Heart disease just won&#8217;t happen if we eat correctly. Make the right food choices in life and you won&#8217;t burden your family, and, our over-burdened medical system.</p>
<p>Get a grip on yourself and DO THE RIGHT THING! And if you already are, congratulations!</p>
